Let me just say, I LOVE wool batting! It has a wonderful loft and this little wallhanging by Martha will benefit from that loft from now on. I outlined the stars only so they would lift up, while using tight fills for the surrounding blocks. I selected an Intelliquilter pattern for the borders--all the rest is freehand, using Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide bobbins.
