Eileen's Christmas Tree
I used IQ to do most of this quilt and only freehanded the garland on the tree. I used Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Jean G's T-Shirt Quilt
Jean asked for minimal stitching inside the blocks, which I did freehand. The patriotic themed sashing and outside border designs were done with IQ, using Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Kara C's Figgy Pudding
Kara wanted a simple all-over design on her quilt, providing texture and not detracting from her quilting. I used an IQ design along with Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Jan M's Holiday Table Runners and Veggie Quilt
The two table runners were quilted freehand using Glide thread and MagnaGlide bobbins. I used an IQ apple pattern for the veggie quilt, with Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin. Jan was thrilled with the results!

Nancy's Houses
Nancy pieced two house quilts; one in blue and one in green. I used hand guided quilting to add doors, define the roof and put in a leafy fill in the backgrounds, all using Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbins.

Remembering Dad
Michelle made this quilt using her dad's old shirts. It is such a sweet token of remembrance. I used an all-over leafy pattern using Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Black and White
This lovely quilt has a pink flange separating the inner blocks from the outer border. Viola asked that I give some "poof" to the small circles scattered about and I added some scrap wool batting atop the 80/20 (cotton/poly) batting used for the full quilt. The photos just don't do her quilt justice.

Jordan B's Baby Shirt Quilt
My MIL, Darlene, worked with Jordan who wanted a lap quilt made out of her son's clothing from his first year. I think Darlene did a wonderful job of selecting, arranging, and piecing the shirts. I chose stars and teddy bears for a whimsical touch, using Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.
Linda S - Son's Batik Quilt
This lovely quilt by Linda had such warm batiks in a simple pieced design--it only needed an all-over design of leaves in an orange/gold thread by Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Snow, snow, everywhere...
On Saturday, we awoke to snowy morning with a golden sun that burnished the tops of the trees as it arose. Then, as MIL Darlene and I left home to drive to the Longarm Quilters of New Mexico meeting, we encountered a cow making her way along our road. We have no idea where she came from or where she was going, but I sure hope she got there. Yesterday (Sunday) it began to snow steadily and the remaining photos are from today (Monday). Oh, and it's still gently snowing. The high temperature today was 13 degrees, and it's currently -2 degrees. It's a tad chilly here.
