No, you are not seeing double!

It doesn't happen often at all, but it turns out that my next quilt, from Kira, was (for the most part) the same pattern and fabric as the one I completed before hers. You will see that the center panel has a different background color and Kira opted for binding as shown in the pattern, with two sides having a curved edge, and the other two being straight. I used Sew Fine on top and Magna Glide in the bobbin.

Eve's Birdies

Eve asked that I create an all-over design for this quilt, except for the center bordered in fuschia. I took some extra batting and placed a double layer in that center and then framed the center with deep red leaves and stitched the branches, flowers and birds in the center using a deep brown thread. All threads on top were Sew Fine and MagnaGlide was used in the bobbin. I received a good half dozen hugs when I delivered her quilt today!

Ilene's Kaleidoscope

The photos of California customer Ilene's kaleidoscope quilt do not do justice to the rick, muted batiks. I used Rita Galaska's leaf panto, Sew Fine on top, and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Viola's BOM

This is the third BOM that I've quilted, and the second one for Viola...I have two more in the queue. Our LQS' bright and whimsical 2010 Block of the Month (BOM) was extremely popular. Viola always gives me a great canvas to work on. I used Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Rebecca L's Baby Quilt

It seems as though there have been a bunch of babies born lately...at least to friends and families of quilters! This sweet quilt got an overall swirl pattern with stars within the inside squares. I used Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Virginia D's Asian Lady

Virginia is a prolific embroidery quilter who leaves it up to me to decide what to add. I try to complement her work with quilting that follows the theme of her quilt. I used Sew Fine and Marathon thread on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.
