Cindy K's Film Strip Quilt

Cindy made this quilt as a special Christmas gift for one of her sons who recently moved into a new apartment. I used a curvy design to complement all the straignt lines and angles of the top. Again, Sew fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Rebecca's First Quilt!

Wow! I am impressed with Rebeccca's first quilt, this adorable Sunbonnet Sue. I gave the quilting a somewhat traditional look to complement her quilt top. What do you think? BTW, I used Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Kira's Blues

Kira whipped this out quickly and as busy as the prints are, I did an all-over freehand design with a neutral thread, usinbg Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Cindy K's Wild Quilt

There is probably another name for this quilt, but I think "Wild" is perfect! I used Sew Fine on the top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Teresa H's Southwest Wallhanging

There were several thread changes on Teresa's quilt to ensure that the thread blended and the texture was the star. I used Marathon and Sew Fine threads on the top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Joan J's Baby Carriage Quilt

This is such a precious baby quilt that has a classic look to it with the machine appliqued carriages in black and pinks. For this one, I used a pale pink thread in So Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Joan J's Film Strip Baby Quilt

Babies love bright colors and this one is both bright and fun with Dr. Suess' characters. I used a Signature variegated on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin.

Kira's "Amy Butler Love" squares

Kira asked that I quilt this as I did a previous one for Cindy. I used a block pantograph of Chantilly Lace and then freehanded the sashing. I used Sew Fine in the top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin. Kira loved it!

Virginia's Embroidered Pansies

Client Virginia D created this large embroidered quilt and gave me free reign. It was a challenge to both highlight the embroidery and disguise the excess fabric that remained after she pieced this top. I tried some new quilting techniques and used Sew Fine and Madeira on top, and MagnaGlide in the bobbin. This one took much longer than I anticipated, but I believe the effort was worth it.

Melody G's Marble Tile Quilt

Isn't this quilt top amazing? The outer border tiles fit together perfectly. Melody asked that I do my thing and left all design decisions up to me. Whew! The pressure! DH Daryl thought up the over/under pattern for the center section and the rest evolved as I began to quilt it. I used Sew Fine on top and MagnaGlide in the bobbin. This quilt, once bound, will be shown in the Northern New Mexico Quilt Guild's show the first weekend in October.
