Cathy A's Coventry Quilt

Cathy made this special quilt for her daughter and it was fun to add a floral background for this pretty quilt and help those star blocks "pop". I used Sew Fine thread throughout.

And here are the rest of the photos!

Martha K's Lone Star Quilt

It's both scary and exciting when a customer gives me free rein to do "whatever" I think is best. This was a unique Lone Star wherein the points of the star are not pieced but almost have the look of a "stack-n-whack" where the design repeats in a circular pattern. I used Madeira gold thread to echo the flower motifs inside the star, and used Sew Fine on the rest.

T-Shirt dresses

The orange dress is for Isabelle and the green dress is for Ursula. They are both in a 2T and I removed the bottom of each T-shirt and added a skirt...then appliqued a design from the fabric to the front of the T-shirt. I mailed these off to our granddaughters and hope that they like them (oh, and that they fit, too)!

Margaret B's quilt

Margaret maade this for her daughter...I love how striking this is with her fabric choices. I used a pantograph all-over design for texture, using Sew Fine thread.

Martha's batiks

Martha asked for an all-over design and I chose to freehand gingko leaves, picking up the pattern in the white on white fabric.
