New York Beauty

Toni made this lovely wall hanging for her daughter and gave me free reign to do what I wished. I used Hobbs 80/20 to ensure a good internal foundation, and used Sew Fine in the bobbin, and mono-poly on top so it would blend with the colorful fabric choices.

Mono-poly thread seems to be softer than monofilament thread. Regardless, choose a lightweight thread, then only use it in the top of your machine, and use a fine thread like Sew Fine in the bobbin. Make sure that the top tension is loosened and do a bit of practice first--check the tension and appearance on top and bottom and adjust accordingly. Then, you are good to go!
