Phoebe's Romantic Floral

There is probably a name for this pattern, but I have no idea what it is...hence the name, "Romantic Floral," as that's the feeling it evokes. This is the sample quilt for a class Phoebe will be teaching at our LQS. I used Sew Fine in both the top and bobbin.

The Hungry Butterfly Quilt

This was the first of four quilts from Kathi D. She's been busy sewing them up for her grandchildren. Kathi asked that I quilt this following the design in the quilt magazine...and so I did! I used white Sew Fine thread throughout...didn't bother showing the back as it is the gum ball print and nothing shows back there! Kathi was thrilled with the quilting!

Zig-Zag Batik

This was another "do whatever" quilt from Laura. I used King Tut variegated thread on the top and Sew Fine in the bobbin
I wish the photos were clearer but we were in a hurry to get it out for her deadline

More Black and White

This time, it is Kathy P. who creates a lovely quilt using classic black and white--with a yellow accent. Simple quilting is best to show off the piecing.

Water Lilies

Laura B. created this unique wall hanging and said, "do whatever". I freehanded the water effect and the dragonflies, and used a koi freebie panto pattern that DH Daryl modified for use in this quilt. Laura was oh so pleased!

Black & White and a bit of Red

This was Toni J's quilt for her daughter. I love the black and white prints she chose along with the touch of red. She wanted something simple and so I used a pantograph that DH Daryl created...it picks up one of the florals within the quilt.
