Ilene's French Braid

Isn't this a beautiful quilt pattern? This is the second one I've received from Ilene--and this one she's keeping for herself! We tried to take these photos on a windy day, so pardon the catywhampus pics! The quilt pantograph pattern used is called "Cascade" and has wonderful curves to offset the straight lines and angles of the French Braid design. I used King Tut on the top and Sew Fine in the bobbin. Ilene loves the finished quilt!

Another from Virginia

Virginia loves to combine embroidery with quilting and she created this one in late 2008. I waited until I caught up on my backlog before taking the time necessary to devote to detailed and time-consuming custom work. At last, I have pulled the photos to share--this was completed in early February.

Gloria's Quilt

Gloria made this cute quilt for her grandson. It worked up quickly (small ones tend to do that ) with a freehand design of an echoed heart (thanks, Dawn Ramirez, for the inspiration). I used Sew Fine thread which just sinks into the fabric.
